The University of the Ozarks has a rich history and a highly distinguished tradition. Founded in 1834, they are the oldest institution of higher education in Arkansas.

Ouachita Baptist University

Ouachita Baptist University is a church-related, liberal arts university whose aims are to meet the educational needs of students and to prepare them for places of leadership and service. To achieve these aims, Ouachita Baptist University seeks to combine the love of God with the love of learning. Oakwood University of Alabama

Since 1896, Oakwood University has provided students the opportunity to enter its halls of learning in preparation for service to community, country, and the world. The University is regionally accredited by the Southern Accrediting Association of Colleges and Schools and the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Department of Education.
